State Senator George Logan Recognized by The Radiological Society of Connecticut for his work for his Women’s Health Advocacy On
October 6, 2020, the Radiological Society of Connecticut recognized “ . . .State Senator Logan’s advocacy of preventive breast cancer screenings and has made Senator Logan a ‘Legislative Champion’ for his strong support and advocacy of early breast cancer screenings by women.” Michael Crain, MD, the Radiological Society’s president said, “Senator George Logan has been a strong and tenacious advocate for programs that provide assistance to women who need help with their annual mammograms. We appreciate his work in this regard and believe that lives will be saved as more women have the important imaging test”
The recognition of Senator Logan came at a particularly apropos time, as October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. “Women are society’s civilizing force, and our state’s beloved mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and granddaughters deserve the best health care we can provide them,” said Senator Logan.
